Last month I shared my favorite exercise for seniors, the sit to stand. You can see it here. This exercise is my favorite because it strengthens the legs and helps with balance. These two things are very important as we age. I received many emails for more exercises, in addition to the sit to stand.
In today’s post I have added two more exercises which I also consider important for a functional life. These address upper body strength, in particular, pushing and pulling strength.
