Thanks for your interest in contributing content to Eldergym® Senior Fitness. I am so excited to have your fitness expertise included in Eldergym Academy! To get the ball rolling just read how it works and fill out the quick form below. 

What is the Academy

 Eldergym® Academy is a private members only website which contains courses, workshops, workouts, live presentations, resources, all in video format for seniors to build strength and stability, reduce the risk of falls, and improve balance.

Instructors

Instructors are senior fitness professionals who contribute content to the Academy on a regular basis during the year.

Instructors will have an individualized area in the Academy for their material. Instructors are reimbursed a flat fee for each contribution.

Instructors will be promoted as Eldergym Academy contributors, including a bio, profile, and picture. 

Instructors will have access to all areas of the Academy and are encouraged to participate in the community discussion area to offer their expertise and encouragement. 

Content

Content can be a traditional format like Courses- lessons- modules. An example could be a Nutrition course or fitness course.

Course:  Food Choices and human health

                Lesson 1: Nourishment over a lifetime

                                  Module: Nutrition and the human body

                  Lesson 2: Nutrition standards and guidelines

                                 Module: Nutrient recommendations and guidelines

                                 Module: The food guide pyramid

                                 Module: The food Label

Or it can be stand alone classes like Pilates, yoga, Tai Chi, aerobics, zumba, etc.

How do i get started?

1. Sign up with the form below and get approved.
2. Record your videos for the senior population on your smartphone/video camera; Individual videos can be 20 to 60 minutes. If you need a wireless mic and stand, they can be provided and deducted from payment or you can purchase on your own. Wireless Mic  Tripod
3. Video files are then easily sent to me from your phone via internet https://eldergym.filemail.com
4. When videos are approved, I'll send payment through Paypal. 
5. Videos will be edited and posted in your instructor area on the Academy website.

Tips

Only use an external mic with your phone. I will send one if you need it.

Make sure there is good lighting and seniors can see everything you are doing.

Smile and look at camera for 3 seconds before you start speaking and after you stop speaking so I can edit the footage.

Keep your background neat and uncluttered if possible.
